
Bush Tracks & 1770 Headland Tour

For the best experience, we run intimate group tours of max 10 people.
Starting at the Bush Tracks where you will have an informative morning, from there we will pick you up and take you on a tour of 1770 all the way up to the headland and back for lunch along the foreshore at Rusty Pelican! After that you will have 2 hours to explore 1770.
*This tour runs from 1st April – 31st October Tuesdays – Saturdays
Bush Track Entry Fee
$80 per Adult, $40 per child
Payments for the Bushwalk is payable on Entrée at Traveller’s Rest, we can book, but not take payments!

Bush Track Tour
“BushTracks” takes you on a journey through native Australian bushland, rich with Bushtucker and Bush Medicines. Learn about traditional and cultural uses of plants, embark on a journey through past and present and learn about cultural burning practices protecting our land. Several native beehives keep the diversity of our plants thriving all year round. Wildlife habitats can be seen on the peaceful walk through our ever-changing bushland. The vast variety of native trees inhabit over 60 species of birds.
Tea & Native Treats
After an informative walk under the canopy of tall gumtrees, you will enjoy a delicious cup of local, organic Tielka Tea, accompanied by Wattle Seed Choc Chip Cookies from Dreamtime Tuka – a majority owned Aboriginal company located in NSW. Entice your taste buds by sampling an array of Australian made native spreads supplied by Kurrajong Australian Native Foods.


1770 Headland & Lunch
After a morning adventure learning about the Goreng Goreng Bushland, you will be brought on a guided tour around 1770 all the way up to the headland where you will find the gorgeous views of Round Hill Creek. You will then be dropped off at Rusty Pelican for lunch from there you will have 2 hours to discover all that 1770 has to offer. Not Hungry? Feel free to jump out at any stops along the way.
Kayyaks & Cocktails
You will have 2 hours to enjoy the marina and 1770 area. Go on a short walk from Rusty Pelican to the Tree bar and indulge in their amazing ocean views and cocktails or maybe you are more of the adventurous type? Rent a Kayak from the foreshore at 1770 from Liquid Adventures and have a paddle around the gorgeous pristine waters while keeping an eye out for native birds, dolphins, rays & turtles!!
